The objective of representing the energy of the human soul through the essence of shape continues. The work “Projection” is the first and only one realized for the representation of myself. From these emerge my human figures with triangular base. The triangle was born from the spatula used for sketching the shape of my hair, seen from my shoulders. With the same spatula I created every part of the body, finding in this way in the essence of triangle the ideal shape to synthesize a vast complexity of elements. The lacking of details in the figures and in the contexts was done in order to make the spectator have a greater identification, therefore giving the opportunity to imagine what is actually missing. Even if in the successive works I didn’t intend to represent myself, but rather a sentiment or concept, in the following two years the story of my daily life re-lived through these very pieces of art.
